Gary Vines is an archaeologist working in Melbourne. Australia. He is a member of the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) Industrial History Committee, and the Engineering/Industrial Heritage advisory committee to Heritage Victoria. He is currently researching historic bridges in Victoria, and carrying out a variety of archaeological surveys.
