My life story....

I am Sasank Jampana from Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India. Completed PG Diploma in Computer science at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Started my master's thesis, but didn't have the motivation to go through with it.

I started using linux a couple of years ago. Started out by testing knoppix. Loved the idea of an operating system directly from the cd not disturbing anything in your hard disk. Installed ubuntu after a while and removed windows completely. Now I am "FREE" :-) Though I still use some "non-free" software for watching dvd's. :-O Sasank 13:04, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

I would prefer if material was put into public domain rather than using copyleft licenses. I understand the motivation of GPL, GFDL, etc... But cannot understand why someone should use BSD or MIT licenses instead of adding it to the public domain. Sasank 13:04, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
