When welcoming a user (like [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Davidsilver2010&diff=404054399&oldid=404054090 here]), please could you substitute the welcome template, instead of just transcluding it - ie, please put {{subst:welcome}} instead of just {{tn|welcome}}. Also, remember to sign with ~~~~ so they know who it is from.

::Transclusion is when put a template in-between wiggly brackets - e.g. {{done}} - and it makes a copy of the page (in this case, Template:done) appear. It shows the current content of another page or template. If the template gets changed, then the display on the page will change. If you edit the page after saving, you'd see the same code you typed in, ie {{done}}.

::Substitution—If, instead, you put 'subst' it makes a copy of the template at the time you save it. If you edit the page, you see that it contains a copy. If the template is changed, the page is not affected, because it was a copy taken at that time. If you edit the page later, you see the copy of the template - where you'd put {{subst:done}}, it'd be replaced by the actual content of that template. So, in that specific case, it'd have been changed to {{tick|18}} {{ucfirst:{{{1|Done}}}}}.

In fact, I'm starting to think we should seriously prune the airsoft articles anyway, considering they're all unsourced. Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
