[[Delhi]]
When two users disagree about an edit, they generally discuss it on the talk page until they come up with a solution; they don't just revert each other. In fact we have a rule that prohibits edit-warring over an article. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:04, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
HTML formatting
Hello... I am here to ask a small favor of you. When you're formatting text with <i>, <b> or some font parameter, please, remember to close it with </i>, </b> or </font>. Otherwise the posts that follow your posts get all wrong. Thanks. Aditya(talk • contribs) 15:27, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway
A tag has been placed on :Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{tl|hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kannie | talk 04:21, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Requests
Just a request: Please could you avoid using italics, colour or bold for your messages?
The + or - indicate the size in bytes that the last edit changed. If content is removed, the page changed by -X bytes. If new content was added, the page changed by +X bytes. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 13:40, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Highways passing from Delhi
Please be aware that I've moved Highways passing from Delhi, which I see you were in the middle of working on, to User:190319m9/Highways passing from Delhi to keep it from being speedy deleted. Feel free to moe it back when it's finished. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 16:00, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Delhi
Delhi is a featured article. None of the other Indian city articles have a climate table, and previous attempts have been reverted. A table is distracting and unnecessary and too detailed. It would be best to place the table in the Climate of Delhi page not on the Delhi page. Nikkul (talk) 20:19, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Mainla2.jpg
Thanks for uploading :Image:Mainla2.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:06, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Delhi Climate
Please do not keep reverting my edits. Having a table that shows the weather for EACH month is unnecessary. The article is supposed to be a summary, with a link to more detailed info on the top of the section. The table belongs in Climate of Delhi. Not on the Delhi page.
Plz look at ALL other featured Indian city articles; NONE of them have a climate table. Look at Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Darjeeling, Kochi, Kolkata, Malwa, Technopark, Gangtok, Kalimpong all r WP:FA. Please stop reverting my edits. Nikkul (talk) 05:04, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Re:
Image copyright problem with Image:Connaught-Place.jpg
Image:Nuvola apps important.svg
Thank you for uploading :Image:Connaught-Place.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 23:34, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
Mumbai and Delhi infoboxes
To answer your question:
You need to understand the difference between a city, metropolis and metropolitan area. A city is the smallest managed urban unit. In the Indian context, a city and its suburbs together make a metropolis if (usually) managed my a single municipal unit. A city and its surrounding urban areas ie urban areas that directly contribute to its growth and economy eg Thane and New Bombay for Mumbai, is known as a metropolitan area.
The area figures for Mumbai are correct. In the case of Delhi, the area for the entire union territory is included. The NCT is composed of three census towns: Delhi, New Delhi and Delhi Cantonment, and 240 villages. Since everything is clubbed as "Delhi", the figures often get skewed. Mumbai on the other hand is much more simple. It has a city district and a suburban district, and together make up a single municipal metropolis.
For the actual population please see: [http://world-gazetteer.com/wg.php?x=&men=gcis&lng=en&dat=32&geo=-104&srt=npan&col=aohdq&va=&pt=c population charts]
Please do not add climatic data on the page. Add it to Climate of Delhi. Such information is superfluous for a summary article.
Regards,
=Nichalp «Talk»= 05:59, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
:For Mumbai, we take into factor the population of the city district and the suburbs. For Delhi, we can factor in only the population of the city of Delhi. =Nichalp «Talk»= 13:37, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
