Looking at the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Welsh_rugby_league_players Category:Welsh rugby league players], I realised that any player who played before the 1970s, whose article name ended with the text "(rugby league)", e.g. Frederick Brown (rugby league) will likely have played rugby union before "Going North", yet their articles make no mention of their prior rugby union career, hence their article name. There are 95 articles that meet these criteria, would you know whether these players are detailed in either of Robert Gate's "Gone North" books? Best Regards. :I haven't created a list, but any player article name ending with the text "(rugby league)" on the three pages of [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Welsh_rugby_league_players Category:Welsh rugby league players], would be worth investigating if their playing era was prior to the 1970s, e.g. Dennis Brown (rugby league), John Cheshire (rugby league), etc. but probably not post 1970s players, e.g. Joe Burke (rugby league), David Clarke (rugby league), etc. For example, of the fourteen players with the surname "Davies" and article names ending with the text "(rugby league)", 8 have pre-1970s careers, and 6 have post 1970s careers. Hi again, FM. I don't have a Welsh etymology for Tregaron, but always assumed it's based on St Caron, whose church is there. Now someone has written the following in the article Tregaron (estate): "Davies named the place "Tregaron" (village of the three wells) after his mother's ancestral home in Wales." Yes; around 18 came in during the day, most for 3-4 hours and a few stayed all day. This time we'll have two groups. The venue was superb and the staff at the Central Library were very accommodating. But seriously though, I believe having a notability criteria of 'Have fought at least n (number yet to de defined) professional fights for a top-tier organisation' would be perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately, the thing about boxing associations/boards/councils/federations/organisations/unions is that there are so many to choose from.

I would define the top-tier as being; IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO.

and may also include;

• The Ring, TBRB, WPBF, IBC, IBA, IBO, WBU, and IBU.

Subject to further investigation, and article creation, top-tier could also include;

• World Boxing Association affiliates; FEDELATIN, Pan Asian Boxing Association (PABA), North American Boxing Association (NABA)
• World Boxing Council affiliates; North American Boxing Federation (NABF), Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF), European Boxing Union (EBU), Asian Boxing Council (ABCO), African Boxing Union (ABU), Caribbean Boxing Federation (CABOFE), Central American Boxing Federation (FECARBOX), CIS and Slovenian Boxing Bureau (CISBB), South American Boxing Federation (FESUBOX), and Hispanic World Boxing Association (ABMH).
• World Boxing Organization affiliates; North American Boxing Organization (NABO), WBO LATINO (LATINO), WBO Asia-Pacific

And as this is the English language Wikipedia, I see no reason why the national boxing associations/boards/councils/federations/organisations/unions within the Anglosphere should not be considered top-tier, e.g. British Boxing Board of Control, Boxing Union of Ireland, etc. and subject to article creation; Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa, etc.

I'm off on holiday tomorrow for 2-weeks, so I won't be able to help with the redefinition of the Boxing Notability guidelines until I return, and by which time Nat Jacobs and Jimmy Cable will no doubt have been deleted. You may have noticed that my patience is running very fucking thin with Wikipedia, I've made Boxing notability the same as MMA notability, let's see how long that lasts. Best Regards. I'm currently updating List of Commonwealth Boxing Council Champions, and I feel the Commonwealth Boxing Council really deserves an article of it's own, rather than a redirect to 'List of Commonwealth Boxing Council Champions'. Also, I'm not sure whether you've seen the Notability discussion for my inital notability criteria proposals of …

1. Professional: Have fought a professional fight for a top-tier boxing organisation.
2. Amateur: Have fought in the final of a national amateur championship, or have represented their country in an international tournament.

…but I was thinking of changing the professional criteria to…

1. Professional: Have fought for a national (or higher) professional title for a top-tier boxing organisation.

…while leaving the amateur criteria unchanged.

Thanks for your very welcome contributions to the scheduled monuments lists. I have done a format explanation at Talk:List of Scheduled Monuments in Vale of Glamorgan to give some background on what is being aimed at, including how I have organised the ref items. I have tweaked your coflein edited refs to include the coflien NPRN as the 'title', and move the Cadw SAM back to then end of the ref, so it can retain all three reference numbers. A fantastic lot of images there - I've started cropping some to add to individual biographies of High Court / Court of Appeal judges where I know who they are (Christopher Pitchford, Nigel Davis, David Lloyd Jones, Wyn Williams, John Griffith Williams so far) and I've added a couple of the "group shots" to general images about judges in E&W. Hi FruitMonkey, according to the Aberavon RFC [http://www.aberavonwizards.co.uk/Page/Content/1772 Club → History] page… "The back play during this period was of a high standard and in a King George V Jubilee match - between Wales and The Rest - the entire Aberavon back division was selected. It comprised: Tommy Owen James, Arthur Bassett, Randall Lewis, Jack Thomas and Alan Edwards." As far as I'm aware, only Arthur Bassett won caps for Wales, would you know whether the text; "the entire Aberavon back division was selected" means; for this in 1935(?) match they were selected for 'The Rest' and so they were uncapped; or, does it mean that although they were selected for Wales, as this was a non-Test match they were uncapped? :I can't say for sure, but comparing [http://champmedia.dyndns.info/images/imagesource.php?image=5015.jpg&maxwidth=300 this photograph] of an older Arthur Bassett in his Halifax days to the [https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2f/Frank_Whitcombe_for_The_Rest_vs._Wales_in_the_Kings_Silver_Jubilee_Match_1935.jpg photograph of 'The Rest'] featuring Frank Whitcombe, I would say that the younger Arthur Bassett is sat on the floor, on the right, cross-legged. If so, this may mean that the entire Aberavon back division was selected for 'The Rest', and not Wales. As an aside, I'm assuming that 'The Rest' was 'The Rest' of Wales, not Britain, nor the World? I've had another read through Arthur Gould (rugby union) and I think it's nearly ready for a peer review. I was thinking about giving it a copy-edit and then requesting a peer review – probably sometime this weekend. Are you okay with that? Another couiple of things I've been meaning to mention: is there a ref for footnote b? And is the Lloyd, John Edward; Jenkins, R.T. I do have one question: the article states "No accurate records are available until 1886, but from 1887–98 Gould scored 136 tries and dropped 42 goals for Newport" -- the only source I have is [http://www.blackandambers.co.uk/Teams/Player?PersonId=101532] which lists his total (over all years). There are a large number of Welsh biographies on that database actually. I was actually going to message you sometime today. The Gould PR looks more or less done. There are a couple of remaining sourcing concerns to need to be fixed, but once that is done I think it's ready for FAC.
