The When We All Fall Asleep World Tour (stylized in all caps) was the fourth concert tour by American singer Billie Eilish, in support of her debut studio album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019). The tour began on April 13, 2019, in Indio, California at Empire Polo Club as part of Coachella, and concluded in Mexico City on November 17, 2019, as part of Corona Capital.{{Cite web|url=https://stadiumhelp.com/tour_guide/billie-eilish-tour-tickets-setlist/|title=Billie Eilish Tour Guide: When We All Fall Asleep Setlist, Tickets, Media|date=April 11, 2019|website=Stadium Help|language=en-US|access-date=April 18, 2019|archive-date=April 18, 2019|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20190418183140/https://stadiumhelp.com/tour_guide/billie-eilish-tour-tickets-setlist/|url-status=live}}

Background and development

The tour was announced on February 4, 2019, via Eilish's official Instagram account. In the same post, Eilish revealed that Denzel Curry would be the opening act, and her brother Finneas O'Connell would join her for select Canadian stops. The post also hinted at blurred international dates.{{Cite web|url=https://www.instagram.com/p/Btdug5tFl2E/ |archive-url=https://ghostarchive.org/iarchive/s/instagram/Btdug5tFl2E |archive-date=December 24, 2021 |url-access=registration|title=BILLIE EILISH on Instagram: "see you soon I love you 5/29 – san francisco, ca – bill graham civic auditorium 5/31 – portland, or – theater of the clouds 6/1 –…"|website=Instagram|language=en|access-date=April 18, 2019}}{{cbignore}}{{Primary source inline|date=December 2021}}

Shortly thereafter, Australian tour dates were announced, and due to overwhelming demand, additional dates and larger venues were added to accommodate the larger audiences.{{Cite web|url=https://www.iheart.com/content/2019-02-04-billie-eilish-announces-2019-north-american-tour-dates/|title=Billie Eilish Adds More 2019 North American Tour Dates|website=iheart.com|access-date=April 18, 2019|archive-date=April 18, 2019|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20190418183134/https://www.iheart.com/content/2019-02-04-billie-eilish-announces-2019-north-american-tour-dates/|url-status=live}} Four days later, Eilish announced further international dates on her official Twitter account.{{Cite web|url=https://twitter.com/billieeilish|title=billie eilish (@billieeilish)|via=Twitter|language=en|access-date=April 18, 2019|archive-date=April 18, 2019|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20190418034433/https://twitter.com/billieeilish|url-status=live}}

During the first show at Coachella, Eilish faced technical difficulties and had to cut "When I Was Older" and "Xanny" from the setlist.{{Cite web|url=https://genius.com/a/billie-eilish-opens-up-about-dealing-with-technical-difficulties-forgetting-her-lyrics-at-coachella|title=Billie Eilish Opens Up About Dealing With Technical Difficulties & Forgetting Her Lyrics At Coachella|website=Genius|language=en|access-date=April 27, 2019|archive-date=April 27, 2019|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20190427084229/https://genius.com/a/billie-eilish-opens-up-about-dealing-with-technical-difficulties-forgetting-her-lyrics-at-coachella|url-status=live}}

Eilish performed her then-new single "Everything I Wanted" live for the first time during the tour's final stop in Mexico City.{{cite web|url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgdG91aCsPU|title=everything i wanted (LIVE FROM MEXICO CITY) by Billie Eilish|date=December 12, 2019 |via=YouTube|access-date=December 12, 2019|archive-date=December 13, 2019|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20191213034521/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgdG91aCsPU|url-status=live}}
