No assertion of notability. It is an old building, but there are lots of old buildings. Is it listed? Is there anything that makes it notable? [http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=Brook+Farm+House+hampshire&btnG=Google+Search&meta=&aq=f&oq= Zero ghits], as far as I can see.
It is worth noting that it appears to have been added to wikipedia by its owners, so besides potential insignificance, there's a COI issue to consider. Tagishsimon (talk) 16:42, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

- Delete. Can't find any evidence of notability on Google News, Scholar or Books. Qwfp (talk) 19:28, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- Comment. According to [http://www3.hants.gov.uk/countrypursuits-2.pdf this pamphlet] from the Hampshire County Council (page 2), the house is "Grade II listed". I have no idea what the significance of that is, but it answers the nom's question "Is it listed?" Deor (talk) 20:19, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
:*Comment - Thanks for that. Listed status is of significance - Grade II is defined at "buildings of special architectural or historic interest" - see Listed building#England and Wales. Equally there are 418,000 Grade II listed buildings in England and Wales. I'm not convinced that on its own a Grade II listing satisfies WP:N, not least with respect to an article which does not explain what the special architectural or historic interest is which got the building the listing. --Tagishsimon (talk) 20:43, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- Merge with Brook, Hampshire, where it is. It is alleged to have been its manor house. That article is also only a stub, so that the merger will improve it. Delete the resultant redirectas unnecessary. Peterkingiron (talk) 22:13, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- Comment That would be a good solution. --Tagishsimon (talk) 22:27, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- That would be a solution that contravenes the project's copyright licences. Uncle G (talk) 22:30, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- Depends how it is done. There is so little content ... adding a sentence to the Brook article which correctly records that there's a C18 listed farmhouse in Brook would effect a merge without using the words in the article. That being the case, the article could then be deleted. --Tagishsimon (talk) 00:44, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- Merge Worth including. Can be broken out again if substantial sourcing is found. ChildofMidnight (talk) 23:24, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- Merge to Brook, Hampshire, the building is [http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=140734 Grade II listed], but only dates from the C18th according to English Heritage (who should know about these matters). Mjroots (talk) 08:53, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- Merge the last paragraph of this article to the last paragraph of Brook, Hampshire, as above (and correct the dating of the building per Mjroots's source). Deor (talk) 22:39, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
