:DELETE: She is a minor scholar of limited, if any, real influence. Being Dean of Students at LDS Business College may matter in Utah, but it doesn't matter anywhere else. I don't mean to hurt feelings; nevertheless, I think the article should be deleted.

She isn't a notable scholar. She has a few minor mentions in Deseret News, for a book published by Deseret. Nothing in Google Scholar. Fences&Windows 19:10, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

:KEEP. Camille Fronk Olson has written multiple books. A search for Camille Fronk will be more revelaing. Plus, she was the dean of students as LDS Business College. I strongly feel we should keep this article.Johnpacklambert (talk) 19:17, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

::I have so far found one article by her in Google schoolar. This is the link, I think. https://doi.org/10.1023%2FA%3A1018868010058 . Mrs. Olson only got married in about 2005, if not later, and so there are many publications by her under her maiden name. Thus the important search is for Fronk and not Olson. Although, I have not done the Olson search, and thus it may also give me insight.Johnpacklambert (talk) 19:57, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

::Thanks John for pointing out her alternate name. Still only four hits in Google Scholar, with few citations. Does she really meet the criteria at WP:PROF? Being a Dean of students doesn't give anyone notability. Fences&Windows 20:00, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

:If you do a search with just C Fronk you will find seven articles or other listings involving her, why your search only got four I am not sure. However, as I point out in the article there are multiple books by her, books she edited, and multiple articles. The fact is that most of her articles do not appear in what is covered by google scholar, but they are not the be all and end all of such matters. As I have tried to point out, her works have reached a broad number of people outside of the narrow points of academia.Johnpacklambert (talk) 20:07, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

I would say that Olson does meat the criteria for notablitiy. Specifically I would cite criteria 7 for academic notability. The amont both her books and even more so her speaches are cited I think makes her someone having significant impact outside of academia in her academic capacity.Johnpacklambert (talk) 02:19, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Delete. Does not appear to pass WP:PROF: Google scholar and Google book searches for her find no evidence of academic impact nor of the sort of strong outside impact needed to pass #7. Re Johnpacklambert: "The amont both her books and even more so her speaches are cited": what citations are you finding? I don't see any reliable sourcing for her impact. —David Eppstein (talk) 18:52, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete. Does not appear to pass WP:Prof. Xxanthippe (talk) 02:41, 13 August 2009 (UTC).
  • Delete per above comments regarding WP:PROF. Being dean of students at a minor business college probably isn't enough by itself, and I see no non-LDS Church-related sources. Good Ol’factory (talk) 04:56, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete as not meeting the WP:prof notability level. 4 (or 7) papers and a book is really not much - I know PhD students with more papers published.YobMod 15:36, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
