:*I disagree, because SPAIR only has a single mention of the subject in the first sentence of the lead. The provision of addition background information regarding the subject, such as that in the lead of the Dennis C. Hammond article would certainly and sensibly enhance and improve the merge target article. For example, information about the subject being a plastic surgeon and assistant professor of surgery at Michigan State University would be a fine addition. Also of note is that a merge was suggested at Talk:Dennis C. Hammond on 2 June 2014, with the nominator (obviously) supporting a merge of SPAIR to the subject's article and one user opposing.
