Here's an alleged Australian former professional footballer and current model. Sourcing is highly deficient, though: he supposedly played for Real Aranjuez CF (which the article spells "Aranguaz"), where he was recognized to be a "soccer prodigy." Well, [http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=%22eddy+parra%22+aranjuez&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=df82d86320cf60e9 "eddy parra" aranjuez] returns an apparently unrelated YouTube video, [http://www.google.com/#hl=en&safe=off&num=30&q=%22eddie+parra%22+aranjuez&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=df82d86320cf60e9 "eddie parra" aranjuez] returns some sort of catalog listing under "Recently Arrivied MIDIs," [http://www.google.com/#hl=en&safe=off&num=30&q=%22Edward+Parra%22+aranjuez&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=df82d86320cf60e9 "Edward Parra" aranjuez] returns a user comment on something called a "Webzine de metal," [http://www.google.com/#hl=en&safe=off&num=30&q=%22Eduardo+Parradise%22+aranjuez&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=df82d86320cf60e9 "Eduardo Parradise" aranjuez] returns this page, and [http://www.google.com/#hl=en&safe=off&num=30&q=%22Edward+Parradise%22+aranjuez&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=df82d86320cf60e9 "Edward Parradise" aranjuez] returns nothing at all. There's an "unofficial, independent Western Australian Football (Soccer) Website" that [http://members.iinet.net.au/~jacob/wasoccer/archivednews/2003MayJun.htm indicates] an Edward Parra once scored a goal for Perth SC, but I really can't find any other information in a reliable source to confirm even that. Other than what I've mentioned, this entire article seems totally unverifiable. My PROD was contested, so here we go. Glenfarclas (talk) 06:07, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

- Delete. Thanks to the nom for the thorough search for sources. I can't find anything additional to those. Even if all the claims in the article could be verified, I highly doubt that Real Aranjuez CF was playing in a fully professional league per WP:ATH when Eduardo was supposedly there. The highest the team has been is the Tercera División, with 361 teams. The same goes for Perth SC - not fully professional. Trialing at Seville obviously doesn't get him across the line. And finally, there is nowhere near significant enough coverage to suggest he meets WP:GNG for anything (football, fashion, etc.)--Mkativerata (talk) 18:23, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
:*Thanks for that information—I think every article on a sports team should say in the first sentence whether it's fully professional or not, for the benefit of people at AfD ;) Glenfarclas (talk) 21:17, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Agreed there is nothing out there that shows this kid to be notable. Ref to him scoring for Perth was in relation to U-18 / reserves report, so even ignoring that it is a passing mention it comes nowhere close to ATHLETE. Article doesn't claim fame from fashion, merely mentions that is what he now does, but there is no notability to be found there either.--ClubOranjeT 01:50, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
- Delete per nominator. Sarah 10:55, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
- Delete - never played for a professional club, fails WP:ATHLETE and Steve-Ho (talk) 12:55, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
