Per WP:NPOL and WP:POLOUTCOMES. He's a candidate for office but has never been elected. He's not notable outside of the campaign. Marquardtika (talk) 18:55, 8 June 2020 (UTC)

  • Delete fails WP:NPOL; political candidates are not considered notable on their own before they win, and he has not had enough coverage to meet WP:GNG or WP:NPERSON Eddie891 Talk Work 20:48, 8 June 2020 (UTC)

Comment. Does his television career meet the "notable" criteria? If not then it's an obvious delete.--Mpen320 (talk) 21:34, 8 June 2020 (UTC)

  • Merge to United States Senate election in New Mexico, 2020. Candidate is not notable just for being a candidate. If he wins in November, we can re-assess. Bkissin (talk) 17:20, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Delete, without prejudice against creation of a redirect. Candidates are not notable for being candidates per se, and get articles only if they (a) win the election in the end, (b) can be shown to have preexisting notability for other reasons independent of the candidacy that would already have gotten them an article anyway (e.g. Cynthia Nixon), or (c) can be shown to be markedly more special than most other candidates for some reason that would pass the ten-year test for enduring significance (e.g. Christine O'Donnell). But being a local televison personality on a single television station does not satisfy criterion B, and the article isn't even trying to demonstrate anything that would get him over criterion C — so his only path to getting a Wikipedia article is if he wins the seat on November 3. • Redirect to United States Senate election in New Mexico, 2020 as a usual and appropriate outcome for candidates for the U.S. Senate. --Enos733 (talk) 02:18, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Merge to United States Senate election in New Mexico, 2020, which would be improved with this information.Djflem (talk) 13:43, 11 June 2020 (UTC)merge
  • Merge to United States Senate election in New Mexico, 2020. No reason to delete the content if he gets elected. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 13:48, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Redirect. Should rather to be a redirect to 2020 United States Senate election in New Mexico. For instance, look at Mick Rich. LefcentrerightDiscuss 00:37, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Keep. No real dispute that the subject satiss the GNG. NPOL expressly states that unelected candidates "can still be notable if they meet the general notability guideline". The common outcomes page provisions relating to political candidates express limits the presumption of non-notability to "candidates for office below the national level". The US Senate is a national level office, and as a major party nominee for that office, Ronchetti has already received national-level coverage [https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/500833-republican-mark-ronchetti-wins-new-mexico-senate-primary][https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/mark-ronchetti-wins-republican-senate-primary-in-new-mexico/2020/06/02/1828e766-a53f-11ea-898e-b21b9a83f792_story.html][https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/new-mexico/articles/2020-05-06/gop-us-senate-hopeful-unveils-ad-doesnt-mention-trump-name][ and will receive much more.
