Peter Stewart is a non-notable academic. I have made a good effort to tart up the article before bringing this AfD, but basically 1) We can't verify the biographical information 2) His theory is on the fringe of mainstream medicine - proponents acknowledge this. (eg. "Stewart's equations are largely unknown outside a small circle of anesthesiologists and intensivists."[http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.ezproxye.bham.ac.uk/pubmed/12911526]) An acceptable solution to me apart from deletion would be to move the article to one about Stewart's theory and the criticism of it. (Although there's not much, because the overwhelming majority of experts in the area ignore it or are unaware of it.) RupertMillard (Talk) 10:04, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

  • Strong Keep I respect the nominator for making such an effort. It appears though that there are [http://books.google.com/books?q=%22Peter%20A.%20Stewart%22 185 books which mention him], also [http://scholar.google.com/scholar?&q=%22Peter+A.+Stewart%22 60 goolge scholar books]. Including his [http://books.google.com/books?id=4U_50yjaD2IC&pg=PT25&dq=%22Peter+A.+Stewart%22 biographical information in a book named after him]. Based on these findings, would the nominator consider allowing me to close this nomination? Thank you in advance for your consideration. Ikip (talk) 10:24, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Thank you. I withdraw the nomination RupertMillard (Talk) 10:38, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
