An incredibly niche subgenre of poetry, the two references appear to be works in this genre, as opposed to coverage from reliable sources. Doesn't seem to be particularly notable. Just Step Sideways from this world ..... today 23:52, 18 July 2024 (UTC)

  • Keep. The use of pi as a writing constraint is discussed in several recreational mathematics books, e.g. Alex Bellos' Alex's Adventures in Numberland, Ian Stewart's Casebook of Mathematical Mysteries and Arndt and Haenel's Pi Unleashed (and there's even a [https://www.bbc.co.uk/future/article/20160311-how-the-number-pi-inspired-a-writing-style BBC Pi Day article]). I don't think we need separate articles for different ways of doing it, but the general idea is notable. Adam Sampson (talk) 03:03, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
  • Keep, reasonably well covered topic in math related poetry/constrained writing. The article piphilology is so long already that having a separate article on Pilish seems worthwhile; otherwise that would be the natural WP:ATD merge target. —Kusma (talk) 08:01, 19 July 2024 (UTC)

:Keep, a quick Google search showed several sources that could beef up the article's verifiability. Appears notable enough for me! Cedar Tree 04:33, 20 July 2024 (UTC)

  • Keep Pilish is a notable article because it’s a special way of writing that matches words to pi's digits. It’s recognized in literature and math, making it culturally and educationally important. Yakov-kobi (talk) 11:56, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
  • Keep. The article is notable and it's verifiability is evident from countless of sources, such as books, articles and whatnot. I'm not sure why we're even here.

  • :I can see which way this debate is trending, but you may want to considert that at the time it was nominated, as I indicated above, the only two sources were what appear to be examples of this genre, not writing about it. There are now all of three actual references attached, which hardly seems "countless". Just Step Sideways from this world ..... today 21:37, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
