Wikipedia does not use the category system to segregate people by their "former" vs. "current" status within the same occupation -- we would categorize former subpostmasters and current subpostmasters in the same place, not in separate categories for the question of whether they were still in that job right now or not -- but there is no {{cl|Subpostmasters}} to move these two people to, and with only two people here I can't justify moving this either. Suggestion: :Category:Pro-Spanish Dutch people of the Eighty Years' War or :Category:Pro-Spanish people from the Netherlands of the Eighty Years' War, the latter because the term "Dutch" may not include Frisian or Flemish people. But this is incredibly long and it is also unlike any other category. So I start wondering if we shouldn't merge this category and its sibling to the parent categories. I felt that (following the example of :Category:Racially motivated violence against white people in Africa that it was more appropriate to subcategorize by location of the attacks, rather than by the origin of the victims.

I created this following Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2022_October_2#Architecture_by_country, where there was consensus to change from "Fooian architecture" to "Architecture in Foo"; the main focus of that discussion was whether to allow (and how to name) categories like this, where there were significant numbers of cases of diaspora architecture other than {{c|Colonial architecture}}. This one has a larger sibling :Category:Armenian buildings in Turkey, and both of them have see-also links to/from each other and {{cat|Architecture in Armenia}}. Deleting it would be detrimental to the encyclopedia as Togh's Melikian Palace would be removed from Armenia-related architecture categories, although it would remain within {{c|Culture of Armenia}}. – Fayenatic London 13:21, 20 July 2024 (UTC)

• Rename all three using "genre or theme". IMHO "genre" is a good fit for most of the subcats of :Category:Games by genre and some subcats of the others. {{c|Simulation games}} should probably be in {{c|Games by type}} rather than by genre. I considered a split to "Games by theme", as {{c|Naval games}}, {{c|Railroad games}}, {{c|Games about robots‎}} and {{c|Sports-themed toys and games‎}} are more themes than genres. However, it should be noted that real estate is an American term and not all English-speaking countries commonly use it. Maybe :Category:British real estate businesspeople (and perhaps similarly for other nationalities that don't use real estate, though I don't know which ones that would be) should move to :Category:British businesspeople in property.
