I came across these accounts after plowing into Jason Taylor (guitarist). As it turns out, all these accounts (or their puppets/masters) have worked on this BLP hoax, and in between them they have a number of other articles in common, such as Future plc (I think the person may work there) and Holly Willoughby. I'm filing this on the advice of Gogo Dodo, on whose talk page (see User_talk:Gogo_Dodo#Recent_block I had indicated some of the evidence of quackery.
The article history of the Taylor article (now deleted as a hoax) would provide more diffs linking the above list. I am also suspecting IP 193.198.179.123 (see [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/193.198.179.123 IP contributions]), considering their interest in the odd intersection of Human height and "Balkan related articles" (see the [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Human_Rights_Believer&diff=326807010&oldid=326540478 topic ban] for Human Rights Believer).

May I request an investigation into the following editor: User:Kosovo 2008 Albania 1912.
I detect a number of clues that reveal this may be the very same editor. Firstly the user name itself is contrived to celebrate Albanian nationalist anniversaries - the years that both entities of his name declared independence. The sheer controversy of this leads neatly to:
- [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Slobodan_Milo%C5%A1evi%C4%87&diff=prev&oldid=524008445 This attack on Slobodan Milošević]

- [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jeton_Neziraj&diff=prev&oldid=536862233 Breach of naming and biographical conventions again to push POV without consensus]
I feel certain this is another account from the original abuser. The bad language in summaries is yet another clue that one person just cannot change his ways even if to disguise himself. Evlekis (Евлекис) (argue) 23:08, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

{{admin comment}} The evidence from this account's editing history looked close to making this a DUCK, but then I found [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:KOSOVO_IS_NOT_SERBIA&diff=prev&oldid=524006120 this very useful edit], which effectively announces that Kosovo 2008 Albania 1912 is the same person as KOSOVO IS NOT SERBIA. Looking at the editing history of both these accounts together, it was no longer "close to being a DUCK", but became a complete DUCK. I have blocked Kosovo 2008 Albania 1912, and adjusted the block on the already blocked KOSOVO IS NOT SERBIA to reflect the fact that the account is a sockpuppet. However, in view of this sockpuppeteer's history, I would appreciate a checkuser, in case of sleepers, and also in case of other accounts which are not sleepers, but which, like KOSOVO IS NOT SERBIA, have not yet been recognised as sockpuppets. This is a request for CU to find the sockmaster, since several people believe the account to be a sockpuppet.
- Username — if you're a first-time user, are you going to pick a name like this?
- Within minutes of registering, user's engaged in ARBMAC-violating edit wars, e.g. his three edits to Agnesa Vuthaj and his edits ([http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=548370774 example]) to Kosovo War. He's quickly blocked for his edits
- Within minutes of registering, user's figured out complexities of editing: the "example" edit to Kosovo War shows that he either figured out citation templates (I've been here seven years, and I still don't understand them!) or knew how to go back in page histories to find other people using them; he [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=548373094 leaves a hostile message] at the talk page of an editor who's not interacted with him; and he [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=548375488 leaves comments] at a DYK nomination subpage

- Comment and observation. I don't know how it was deduced that "Sinbad Barron" is the puppet master when that account is no different to the rest on the list. It implies that he is a real person but the others are him concealing his identity. Yet despite all attempts to keep this freelance session editor at bay he keeps bouncing back. I have long suspected that something stinks. The latest incarnation seems to have scored a success with Butcher of the Balkans which has survived the speedy delete suffered in the past when the "same user" created it. However, there are deepeer issues. You - the community with access to information - will never eradicate these accounts until you locate the real mind behind the project. Let's look at the facts: the Sinbad Barron franchise do not generally vandalise. The edits are content-based but are gross violations of NPOV whilst the author hides behind a "neutral" guise. As such, their edits are agreeable to many of the editors that push for related revisions. There is no doubt that the franchise either has a main pupper master who has a regular account, or he is somebody's proxy - on hand to rise from his pit whenever his friend is in need. That said, I am not convinced that every account in the Sinbad list is the very same person. Captain Equality for instance can spell consensus but Neutral Fair Guy writes concensus (an error I used to make in younger days but it is quite common). Either it is a poor attempt to disguise himself or there really is another gang member. Evlekis (Евлекис) (argue) 05:20, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

Keithstanton has been blocked indefinitely for persistent WP:ARBMAC disruption, and he popped up at Butcher of the Balkans just as yet another one of Sinbad's sockpuppets had re-created it. I think there's probable cause enough to investigate this based on this behavioral pattern. Joy [shallot] (talk) 14:43, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

User:Keithstanton is evidently linked to the Sinbad franchise, but so too are other accounts that rise from their ashes from time to time just to pedal contemporary ARMBAC affairs in the direction of a preferred revision which otherwise violates every aspect of WP:NPOV. I have long been concerned about the so-called accounts of User:Majuru and User:Arianit, others I just cannot remember but we also had User:Interestedinfairness going back some years. I have reason to suspect that the Sinbad Barron network is not operated by one individual, for example here in 2008[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Slobodan_Milo%9Aevi%26%23263%3B&diff=232769677&oldid=prev], we have the correct spelling of "committed" while five years on?[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2013_April_2&diff=prev&oldid=548803176], one 't'. I don't think that is a typo when the author clearly thinks that "it's" is the possessive pronoun. There is a pile of related accounts and maybe more than one author involved. My honest opinion is that you need to catch the crook regular account holder that benefits from this concerted group of accounts. Evlekis (Евлекис) (argue) 17:52, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
Also, the now archived but recent comments down the bottom [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Sinbad_Barron&diff=541819327&oldid=541819282 of this revision] from the same page pretty much assert what I have stated above. An IP match with one of the "family" but no concrete proof that author is same individual. Evlekis (Евлекис) (argue) 18:25, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

I believe that {{u|Hakuli}} is a sockpuppet account created to circumvent {{u|Let's keep it neutral}}'s Balkan-related topic ban. Hakuli started editing after the latter's block, and susequent ban, went into effect. A number of Let's keep it neutral and Hakuli's edits revolve around the town of Gjilan (Gnjilane) in eastern Kosovo, though with Hakuli, slightly more emphasis is placed on coverage of the town. They both display a blatant and ubiquitous Albanian nationalist bias. Both suggest that Serbian-language toponyms are "offensive" to Albanians, [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Gjilan&diff=prev&oldid=617166910 here ] and [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Oliver_Ivanovi%C4%87&diff=prev&oldid=823803210 here ], as reasons for why they should be removed from articles. Both have made contentious edits to 2004 unrest in Kosovo, downplaying the extent of the violence experienced by Serbs, see [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2004_unrest_in_Kosovo&type=revision&diff=629698555&oldid=624029524 here] and [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2004_unrest_in_Kosovo&diff=prev&oldid=720263248 here ]. They are also vehemently anti-Cyrillic, see [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%C5%A0timlje&diff=prev&oldid=628635264 this example from Let's keep it neutral ] and [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gjilan&diff=prev&oldid=833494259 this example from Hakuli ] Finally, both come across as quite bombastic, using exclamation points where it isn't really appropriate, [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Alexikoua&diff=prev&oldid=735091854 here ], [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AHakuli&type=revision&diff=831286387&oldid=831114571 here ] and [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2004_unrest_in_Kosovo&diff=prev&oldid=629698212 here], for example. There are too many stylistic similarities IMO for the two to be unrelated. Of course, we should carry out a CU to be certain. 23 editor (talk) 10:39, 23 April 2018 (UTC) 23 editor (talk) 10:39, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

- The filer seems to have forgotten to change "checkuser=no" to "yes". On the suspected sock, they have a poor English, while Sinbad Barron and the confirmed sock spoke a good English. Sinbad and the confirmed sock edited Albanian and non-Albanian articles, Hakuli only Albanian ones. The number of pages edited by both Sinbad/confirmed sock and Hakuli is very low. Some of the similarities are not unique, as all accounts discussed are Balkan ones. Searching their editing history, Sinbad was very insulting, saying bad things and spreading hate, Hakuli has an obvious pro-Albanian POV but does not insult people. Anyways, a CU would be of much help. Ktrimi991 (talk) 11:56, 28 April 2018 (UTC)
::I also placed a message on Hakuli's page to inform them about this SPI, they might have not been notified by the ping because the filer modified the page several times without changing the time stamp. Ktrimi991 (talk) 13:01, 28 April 2018 (UTC)
:::And another thing, the "hate spread" happened when I was younger and less mature. Do you know that 10 years have now passed totally? I have nothing to do with Hakuli and for what it is worth, I see his editing style as 100% neutral, factual, and sourced. It is just that some editors don't like the facts and I think it is sad how they search far and wide to make two accounts look as close to each other as possible to forge some kind of "sock conspiracy". I have been banned on Balkan topics for a long time now and I have observed and respected the ban and the community. So people can stop with all this "hate" and "sock" accusations. I am not a sock anyhow, Sinbad Barron has been barred from editing talk page and I am honest as to who I am. So, this makes this an alternative account, not a sock. I really wanted to edit from User:Neutral Fair Guy but that is for some mysterious reason also in denial of talk page access. So I use Lets's keep it neutral. But I want to reiteratre and reconfirm that I am NOT Hakuli. Sinbad Barron (talk) 09:39, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
