[[Redlink]]
Just a heads up that I've created redlink as a redirect to a disambiguation page (since someone else created redlinks and I figured the singular was at least as plausible as the plural). I think I've flushed out any templates assuming that page doesn't exist, but if some do somewhere they will likely show up here. * Pppery * it has begun... 21:15, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
Dab link in Template:Mosques in Georgia (country)
Could someone take a look at :Template:Mosques in Georgia (country). When you try to edit or view it takes you to :Template:Mosques in Denmark so I don't know how to correct the dab link which should go to List of mosques in Georgia (country).— Rod talk 09:25, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
:{{replyto|Rodw}} This isn't a WT:DPL matter. The problem is that {{diff|Template:Mosques in Georgia (country)|prev|1260319492|this edit}} by {{user|Rangasyd}} altered {{para|name|Mosques in Georgia (country)}} to {{para|name|Mosques in Denmark}}. All that was necessary was to alter it back to {{para|name|Mosques in Georgia (country)}}, but {{user|The Banner}} made it sort-of-worse in {{diff|Template:Mosques in Georgia (country)|next|1260319492|this edit}} - Template:Mosques in Georgia isn't the name of the template, it doesn't even exist. Anyway, if ignored, it would show up tomorrow on Wikipedia:Database reports/Invalid Navbar links, so I've {{diff|Template:Mosques in Georgia (country)|prev|1260470009|fixed it early}}. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:16, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
Help to fix dab links to Template:Fox Kids
A couple of links to dab pages in :Template:Fox Kids were fixed a few days ago, however multiple articles which use this template still appear on [https://dplbot.toolforge.org/articles_with_dab_links.php?limit=500&offset=0 Articles With Multiple Dablinks]. As these do not seem to be resolving through normal processes a series of Help:Purge#Null edits may be needed. There are too many for me to do these manually so I was wondering if somone who is expert with AWB or similar tools would consider tackling these?— Rod talk 10:02, 17 February 2025 (UTC)

::Thanks - should take Digimon Adventure & Goosebumps (disambiguation) off the list at the next update.— Rod talk 19:18, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
Link to Savitar/Savitr on Template:Hindu deities and texts
6 days ago a link to the dab page Savitar on:Template:Hindu deities and texts was fixed with the link being changed to Savitr. 174 links are still showing at [https://dplbot.toolforge.org/dab_fix_list.php?title=Savitar Disambig fix list for Savitar]. This may need someone with AWB or similar to do a series null edits.— Rod talk 13:36, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
Template:Regiments by number
Just FYI, {{tl|Regiments by number}} has been added to a slew of disambiguation pages by {{u|+JMJ+}} adding all the pages to this list in the process. Seems to me the template goes against guidance at WP:DABICON. older ≠ wiser 11:50, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
:Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Disambiguation pages#When to ignore the guidelines: {{tq|ignore these guidelines if doing so will be more helpful to readers than following them.}}
:The point of the template was to help readers orient themselves between the disambiguation pages and jump between them easier/faster. All of the regimental disambiguation pages are now more of a web. The very standard naming of all the disambiguation pages also lent itself for such a template, which would fit all of them so easily. Also, so far, [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Regiments_by_number&action=history in the page history], three different editors constructively added to the template without voicing criticism against its very existence, which would indicate to me that such a template is more helpful to readers than not. +JMJ+ (talk) 21:46, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
::Disambiguation pages are specifically for aiding navigation regarding the ambiguous title in question and getting readers where they already intended to go, and the template links to a large assortment of pages that are not ambiguous with the title of the page. I could, perhaps, see a link in a "see also" section to a List of regiments by number if that existed, but such a page might also just be deleted under WP:NOT as a granfalloon; maybe a link to "intitle:1st Regiment" results would be appropriate. A reader using the 1st Regiment disambiguation page to navigate to 1st Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery does not have any more need of a link to 119th Regiment than to 1st Division (Australia), Australian Army, or any assortment of other links that are regularly excluded from inclusion on a dab page, which has always been intended to focus on getting readers from meta material to content through maximizing simplicity.
