{{nihongo|Zanmu|残夢||{{lit}} "unfulfilled dreams"}} is the second studio album by Japanese singer Ado, released on July 10, 2024, via Virgin Music. Announced on April 20, the album was preceded by the release of fourteen singles, including "Show", which was used by Universal Studios Japan to promote their Halloween Horror Nights attraction, and "Kura Kura", the theme song for season 2 of Spy × Family.

Background

In 2022, Ado released her debut studio album, Kyōgen, which went to debut atop both the Oricon Albums Chart and the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart. The album broke a string of records, including becoming the first to sell over 100,000 copies in its first week by a female artist since Superfly's 2008 self titled debut studio album.{{Cite web |date= |title=Ado『狂言』が「アルバム」1位「VOCALOIDのおかげで今のAdoがいる」【オリコンランキング/本人コメントあり】 |trans-title=Ado's "Kyōgen" ranks 1st in the "album" list "Thanks to VOCALOID, Ado is who she is today" [Oricon Rankings] |url=https://www.oricon.co.jp/news/2223022/full/ |access-date=May 1, 2024 |work=Oricon}} Later that year, Ado provided singing vocals for Uta for the Japanese animated musical fantasy film One Piece Film: Red. The accompanying soundtrack album Uta's Songs: One Piece Film Red became an international success, charting in various countries and breaking records on the Japan Hot 100.{{Cite web |last=Harding |first=Daryl |date=August 30, 2022 |title=Ado Makes Japanese Music Chart History With Uta and One Piece Film: Red |url=https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2022/08/30/ado-makes-japanese-music-chart-history-with-uta-and-one-piece-film-red |access-date=May 1, 2024 |website=Crunchyroll |language=en-us}}{{Cite magazine |date=August 25, 2022 |title=Ado Breaks Another Japan Hot 100 Record With 6 Tracks in Top 10 |url=https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/ado-breaks-another-japan-hot-100-record-1235131045/ |access-date=May 1, 2024 |magazine=Billboard |language=en-US}}{{Cite magazine |date=August 17, 2022 |title=Ado Dominates Top Three Slots on Japan Hot 100 — A Chart First |url=https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/ado-top-three-spots-japan-hot-100-1235127810/ |access-date=May 1, 2024 |magazine=Billboard |language=en-US}} In 2023, Ado released multiple singles, alongside a compilation album of cover recordings, Ado's Utattemita Album.{{Cite web |date=September 15, 2023 |title=Ado、「ヴィラン」「飾りじゃないのよ涙は」など収録の"歌ってみたアルバム"リリース ティザー映像も公開 |trans-title=Ado to release "Utattemita Album", including "Villain" and "Kazari ja Nai no yo Namida wa".
