Retirements

Deadliest crash

The deadliest crash of this year was China Airlines Flight 140, an Airbus A300 which crashed on landing in Nagoya, Japan on 26 April, killing 264 of the 271 people on board. This accident marked the deadliest single-aircraft crash in the 1990s.{{citation needed|date=November 2024}}
