Guzhang County ({{lang-zh|t=古丈縣 |s=古丈县 |p=Gǔzhàng Xiàn}}) is a county of Hunan Province, China. The county is the 2nd least populous administrative unit of the counties or county-level cities (after Shaoshan City) in the province, it is under the administration of Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture.

Located in the northwest of Hunan and in the east of Xiangxi Prefecture, the county is bordered to the north by Yongshun County, to the east by Yuanling County, to the south by Luxi County and Jishou City, and to the west by Baojing County. Shen Miao ({{lang-zh|s=深苗|labels=no}}; {{IPA|hmn|sɔŋ˥ miau˥}}): in Shanzhao ({{lang-zh|s=山枣|labels=no}}) and Yezhu ({{lang-zh|s=野竹|labels=no}}). Also called "Gelao" ({{lang-zh|s=仡佬|labels=no}}). Their language is also called Zhang (({{lang-zh|s=章话, 章语|labels=no}}).
Qian Miao ({{lang-zh|s=浅苗|labels=no}}; {{IPA|hmn|tshai˦˩ miau˥}}): in Morong ({{lang-zh|s=默戎|labels=no}}) and Pingba ({{lang-zh|s=坪坝|labels=no}}).

Geology

The Guzhangian Age of the Cambrian Period is named after Guzhang County.
