Demographics
As per various estimates, the constituency has a population of nearly 2.50- 3 lakh voters in this constituency are Brahmins, approximately 2.25 lakh voters are from Scheduled Castes, Forward caste voters mainly Kshatriya make up another 2.55 lakhs, approximately 1 lakhs voters are Kushwaha[Maurya] &Muslims around 2.15 lakhs and Non- Yadav Other Backward Class makes up a little over two lakhs.
