Hello BigPadresDUDE, I am going to revert your edits which unredirected Brooke Logan and Donna Logan from the page that they belong at. When Logan family was up for deletion, most of the keep "votes" suggested it was a good place to merge character articles that could not stand on their own. That's why I went through all the articles for the characters related to that family, looked them over and saw that not one of them contained anything with real world relevance (no Impact, Reception, Casting, Writing sections), then boldly redirected those articles to Logan family. I felt and still feel that the move was for the betterment of the soap opera articles in general. We soap opera editors already have a bad reputation here on Wikipedia, articles like the ones I redirected just compound that with their overly long plot summaries that are written in the past tense and with inuniverse perspective. All of the character's important storyline information (who their family is, who they marry, who they have children with, who their children are) is already mentioned in the Logan family, but the article has the benefit of not containing an overly long and detailed plot summary. To me, they were a perfect fit there and they can always be un-redirected when someone wants to expand the article.

If you do plan on expanding these articles, then here are some examples of soap opera articles which are at Featured article or Good article status: Pauline Fowler, EastEnders, and Dimitri Marick. Here also are some B-Class soap opera articles which, though they aren't at FA or GA status yet, do go beyond just plot summary and have extensive sourcing: Todd Manning, Bianca Montgomery, and Erica Kane. You should also read up on Soap Opera style guidelines, Wikipedia:Manual of Style (writing about fiction)and Wikipedia:Notability (fiction).

I know you've had a number of people jump on you about the edits for the SF/NY Giants. Given what was happening there, I had a look at your other contributions, and it looks to me like you're doing the same sort of thing all over the place. Maybe not every article, but a lot of them are looked after by different projects, like WP:BASEBALL for the Giants, Pete Rose - two you've tried to work on. I know you've said in some of the talk pages that you've looked at what others have said and tried to follow it, but its hard to accept that when there's been as much discussion as there has about the types of edits you've made. Fair enough, the Giants one may not have ben easy to spot if you didn't know about the WP:BASEBALL, but the Pete Rose one had an ongoing discussion about the exact change you made on the corresponding talk page, as well as in WP:BASEBALL.

I've got a couple of suggestions that will help make it easier for you, and less likely to have people angry at you:

1. When you're writing on a talk page about anything, try to use the same spelling and punctuation that you would if you were writing the text of an article. (The odd mistake's fine, but it should be pretty close.) Writing in "ALL CAPS" is considered shouting, and fairly rude. Writing a paragraph worth of text all in lower case (with the exception of "shouting") and no periods or commas to break it up makes it difficult for others to read, and there's probably a tendancy for people trying to read it to either misunderstand you because they couldn't follow what you wrote properly, ignore what you wrote because it looked too hard to follow, make them think you're not very intelligent and assume you've got nothing useful to say, or some combination of all three. If you want to highlight a bit of text (use it wisely) you can make things bold by surrounding it with three apostraphes like this, italics with two apostraphes like this, or both with five like this.
2. Check the talk page of an article before you make any edits, to see if what you want to add or change has already been discussed. (If an article is looked after by a project, it'll usually have a banner for the project on the talk page. It's a good idea to at least have a quick check with the project as well.) If there is a discussion about your changes and a particular option has been decided, make sure you follow what's been decided there, and don't make a change that will obviously make one side of the discussion unhappy if its still being worked out. If you don't agree with what's been decided, feel free to voice your opinion, and see if you can change people's minds, but do it respectfully and without making the argument personal.
3. If there are topics you're interested in or think you can contribute to - I'm guessing baseball would be one - find the projects that match and join up with them. It'll help to give you an idea of what's expected for certain types of articles, and will help you to find some examples of articles on that topic that have been rated as being of good quality so you've got some ideas of what to work towards. (In case you're not aware yet, "Featured Article" is the top ranking, with "Good Article" sometimes considered to be a step or two away from being made a Featured Article.)
4. Just because someone makes an edit to article that you don't agree with, doesn't automatically mean you should use the undo function. That's generally when someone's vandalised a page, or if someone's made changes that clearly go against a consensus that's been agreed to. If someone's undone one of your edits, and it doesn't have an explanation for why, ask them on their talk page or the article's, don't just redo the change or undo their undo. If you think someone else's changes should be undone, make sure you explain why in the edit summary, and leave a message on a talk page (the article's or their's) pointing to where the consensus was decided for the person to see for themselves. With the exception of people who have fun messing up articles by vandalising them, we're all here to help out: we just have different ideas as to how to achieve the end result - that's why you'll see references to "assume good faith": assume the other person's trying to help.
5. In the case of The Hart Dynasty, when there's already info on here - either in a standalone article or as a section of another article - don't just copy it to somewhere else to create a new article. It's best in that case to expand on what's already there. If it gets to the point where an article gets too big, the section can be broken out into its own article, leaving a summary of the content behind in the old article, along with a links going between the two articles. An example from what I've been working on is Australia national baseball team, and splitting out the info from the Olympic Games and World Cup sections into Australia national baseball team at the Summer Olympics and Australia at the Baseball World Cup. Having said that, don't follow that example exactly, because all three articles are still works in progress, but it should help give you an idea about how its supposed to be done.

Hopefully I don't sound like too much of a nag or boring old fart, and hopefully I haven't scared you off from participating on here. Anyone who's willing to help out is always welcome in my opinion. New people joining are going to tend to make mistakes and step on people's toes without realising it. Hey, The logo of the Padres is a copyrighted image and thus falls under WP:FAIRUSE, these images can only be used with fair use rationales in certain articles. For the template you wish to use it with you need to use an image that is free to use in any article, like the image :File:Petco_Park_Interior.JPG. I'm not good with copyright law and such, so if you have any more concerns I'd suggest you leave a message on WT:BASEBALL and someone else with more experience in the area will be able to answer the question better. I saw your query on Rocksey's talk page not too long ago. I am going to tell you what she should have told you: You should not create this article, unless it passes WP:Notability. For a quick layout, Wikipedia:WikiProject Soap Operas clearly displays what is needed in order to create a soap opera couple article here. Though winning a major award alone would not be enough for notability. I will go further and say that you should also not create this article...unless it has good or decent grammar/spelling. You have spelling and grammar issues. Your version of this article in your workspace is not anywhere close to being acceptable for Wikipedia. Even the headings are wrongly formatted (seeing as you capitalize the beginning of each word in them). See Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Article titles, headings, and sections.

You should study articles such as JR Chandler and Babe Carey, Reese Williams and Bianca Montgomery, etc., etc. to see how a fictional couple or supercouple article should be formatted here at Wikipedia. Flyer22 (talk) 09:19, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Check out that policy. Skye Chandler is best known as Skye Chandler, not as Skye Chandler Quartermaine. In addition, cut-and-paste moves, which is what you did in this case, should not be done. Why not? Because it takes away the article history.

This is quite possibly the most moved soap opera article on Wikipedia. The long standing consensus has been that the article should remain at Carly Corinthos. A long time abuser and banned editor who desperately wants to edit here despite getting regularly blocked loves to move that article. You'd be amazed at the number of new, male soap opera editors who love to move that article. Please leave it where it is. AniMate^draw 03:27, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source and improve stub articles, and a list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers and tag teams that should be fairly easy to improve.

Different images aren't the problem. The fact is these are all non-free images, and part of Wikipedia's mission is that we use non-free content as sparingly as possible. All non-free images need to pass all ten criteria of our non-free image policy, and these don't (especially criteria 3a and 8). Merely "wanting to know what something looks like" isn't enough, unfortunately. If a non-free image is critical for the reader to understand part of an article which cannot be explained sufficiently in text, then it may be appropriate, but use outside those criteria is not allowed. When titling sections we need to follow some basic rules. One is simpler is better. On Emily Quartermaine you changed Second Chances to The Begining and End Of Emily and Nikolas. That's way too long and detailed and not precisely correct. It wasn't the "beginning" of Emily and Nikolas, and you didn't spell beginning correctly. Secondly, your capitalization is wrong. Generally only the first word and proper nouns should be capitalized. You should have titled it The beginning and end of Emily and Nikolas. "Beginning", "end", and "of" are not proper nouns. • The Perros del Mal promotion announced a television deal with Televisa Canal 9.
• On the September 29 episode of ECW, William Regal was announced as the interim general manager, as Tiffany had been injured in a kayfabe car crash. This storyline was put in place as Tiffany suffered a broken humerus at the Florida Championship Wrestling television tapings on September 24, but she was able to return to television on the October 6 episode of ECW.
• Lacey Von Erich made her TNA debut on the October 1 episode of Impact!.
• On October 2, Ken Anderson won the Nu-Wrestling Evolution World Heavyweight Championship in Malta, by defeating Chuck Palumbo and Tiny Iron in a three-way match.
• At Hell in a Cell on October 4:
• The Undertaker won the World Heavyweight Championship by defeating CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match.

• WWE's official website announced the retirement of Jamie Noble on November 10.
• On November 11, it was announced that TNA had released Sojournor Bolt from her contract.
• On November 12, BBC News reported that Welsh wrestler Orig Williams, better known as El Bandito, died at the age of 78.
• Paul London won the NorthEast Wrestling Championship on November 13 by defeating Jason Blade.
• Dragon Gate announced that they had released Cyber Kong from his contract. Kong suffered a neck injury in late October, and did not feel he was healing well enough to return to wrestling, and so requested his release.
• Sky Sports announced that it would begin to broadcast Superstars in Britain on December 11. It will also start broadcasting This Week in WWE, which will first air on January 3.
• On November 20, it was reported that WWE had re-signed Mikey Batts to work as a referee.
• It was reported on November 21 that TNA had signed British wrestler, "Sweet" Saraya Knight to a contract.

• On November 26, Tetsuya Bushi defeated Avisman to win the IWRG Intercontinental Lightweight Championship.
• On November 27, 2009, it was reported that wrestler "Sexy" Lexi Pillman (Alexa Pillman), Brian Pillman's step-daughter, had died due to injuries sustained in a car accident earlier that day.
• BxB Hulk became the inaugual Dragon Gate USA Open the Freedom Gate Champion by defeating Yamato, Cima, and Gran Akuma in the tournament final on November 28.
• On November 30, British Sky Broadcasting announced they had signed a new five year contract with WWE.
• On December 1, WWE and Titan Publishing announced the creation of a comic book, WWE Heroes, with the first issue set to be released in March 2010.
• Eddie Fatu, better known as Umaga, died on December 4 due to a heart attack. He had been rushed to the hospital earlier that day in a critical condition after his wife found him unresponsive with blood running from his nose.
• On December 5, TNA announced that they would be holding a live, three-hour special Monday edition of TNA Impact! on Janauary 4, 2009 to compete against WWE Raw.

• It was reported that Ricky Steamboat, Jr. had signed a developmental contract with WWE.
• Former wrestler Colt Steel (real name C.J. Jackson) died at the age of 53. The cause of death is currently unknown.
• At Final Resolution:
• Tara won the TNA Women's Knockout Championship by defeating ODB.
• Sheik Abdul Bashir won one of the Feast or Fired briefcases, which was revealed to have the pinkslip in it. This storyline was put in place so Bashir could legitimately leave TNA.
• Roxxi broke her ankle in two places at the Impact! taping on December 21.
• On December 22, TNA announced they had signed a deal with Setanta Sports Africa to air Impact! and pay-per-views in several African countries.
• The Mexican National Trios Championship was vacated in late December, due to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre announcing Black Warrior's retirement. A tournament has been set up to crown new champions.

• Dixie Carter announced that TNA had signed The Young Bucks to a contract on December 26.
• On December 27, Cima and Gamma defeated Shingo Takagi and Yamato to win the Dragon Gate Open the Twin Gate Championship, but vacated the championship immediately afterwards.
• Melina suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament at a house show on December 29.

• ODB defeating Tara to win the TNA Women's Knockout Championship.

• Katsuji Adachi, better known as Mr. Hito, died in Calgary at the age of 67. His death was related to diabetes.
