Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chick Corea, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Southern Italian. Proposed deletion of :Hot Rod Charlie
The article :Hot Rod Charlie has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The horse has not won Grade I events which is the minimum requirement for the Wikipedia:WikiProject Horse racing hence failing WP:GNG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the proposed deletion/dated notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing proposed deletion/dated will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hallo, Thank you for creating Lincoln Perry (artist). When you create an article like this with a "disambiguated" title, please make sure that the reader can find it from the basic name (ie Lincoln Perry), by adding or expanding a hatnote, or adding the article to a disambiguation page. This helps the reader to find the new article, and also reduces the chance of a future careless editor creating a duplicate article with a slightly different disambiguator. I've fixed this one. Thanks, and Happy Editing. PamD 23:36, 9 November 2021 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of :Marc Balet
The article :Marc Balet has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not disclose sufficient notability as per WP:BIO and WP:CREATIVE.
Ari T. Shoot Yourself moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Shoot Yourself, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

File:Information.svg Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into :Benedetto Robazza. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Umpteenth request
File:Information.svg Hello. I have noticed that you edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! O'Dea (talk) 10:30, 22 June 2023 (UTC)
Why do you repeatedly ignore requests? It's rude
Hi Strattonsmith.
Numerous editors have pointed out to you for the past two years the necessity of using edit summaries for each of your edits but you have ignored these requests – as many as eight requests in total!
Your edit history shows that you provide a summary for only 1.3% of your edits, which is not just a poor record, but discourteous to other editors.
It would be appreciated if you would take a few seconds to describe your edits in the summary box provided. Thank you. O'Dea (talk) 10:45, 22 June 2023 (UTC)

Invitation
File:Wikipedia New page reviewer.svg
Hello BASEPAGENAME!
- The New Pages Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles needing review. We could use a few extra hands to help.
- We think that someone with your activity and experience is very likely to meet the guidelines for granting.
- Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time, but it requires a strong understanding of Wikipedia’s CSD policy and notability guidelines.
- Kindly read the tutorial before making your decision, and feel free to post on the project talk page with questions.
- If patrolling new pages is something you'd be willing to help out with, please consider applying here.
Thank you for your consideration. We hope to see you around!

Joel Sanders moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Joel Sanders. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement.
Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page.
When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 18:58, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
Dear Vanderwaalforces (talk) 18:58, 26 September 2023 (UTC) I appreciate your bringing to my attention the deficincies in the article, however I believe they are easily solved adding the New York Times and Architectural Digest references and materials. I think that you could have allowed more time to adrress, therein rather easily attended to with getting to the crux of the issues his architecture and proposals deal with. To put it four months hence for review is sort of unfair. Could you please look at at and see if is improved enough now or what it still requires for publishing. Thank you so much for your consideration.Strattonsmith (talk) 20:43, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
:Hi Strattonsmith, thanks for pinging me. The article is a WP:BLP and as such require you to follow the policies at WP:BLP. The article is currently not in a state where it can remain in mainspace that’s why I moved it to draft so that you can fix things up before and taking it through the AFC process. The sources doesn’t establish the notability of the subject, add ore reliable sources to the article if possible and if you can find any. I’m just trying to assist you so that the article won’t get nominated for deletion, but welp, it will end up there if the subject of the article is not notable enough to have a Wikipedia entry. Regards! Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:45, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
The sources do establish it now look back at it. I have created a hundred and thirty articles and must know something instead of working on it with me you have constructed a giant time delay bureaucratic obstacle.@Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:45, 26 September 2023 (UTC). ~~↔↔
:Hi, allow an AfC reviewer to review the article. Do not be offended because it was moved to draft. I have explained why I moved it already @Strattonsmith. Take a look at each sources cited and see that they are majorly passing mentions and not really a SIGCOV. Also, the references are not well formatted, try and fix that by using appropriate citation templates. I am helping and not constructing "a giant time delay bureaucratic obstacle". Regards. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 12:17, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
::They are not passing mentions the New York Times and Architectural Digest. It is a ridiculous move for problems that could have been addressed. You could have addressed these issues in regular space and had me address them. I dont plan to spend the rest of my existence on here arguing with people who insist that they are right at all costs. Like McDunslds have it your way tats Strattonsmith (talk) 17:31, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
:::You’re trying by all means to turn this into an argument and it seems you enjoy it. Well, this is my last comment regarding this draft, let AFC reviewers do their job. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 18:36, 27 September 2023 (UTC)

Reference formatting
File:Information.svg Hello, and thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia, and in particular for adding references! However, you should know that adding a bare URL is not ideal, and exposes the reference to linkrot. It is preferable to use proper citation templates when citing sources. A bare URL is a URL cited as a reference for some information in an article without any accompanying information about the linked page. In other words, it is just URL copied and pasted into the Wiki text, inserted between
:
which displays inline in the running text of the article as:
:Lorem ipsum1 dolor sit amet.
and displays under References as:
: 1. ^ Download the Scanning Software - Windows and Mac". Ask a Question. Canon Inc. 2022. Retrieved 2022-04-02.
If you've already entered one or more bare urls to an article, there are tools available to expand them into full citations; try the reFill tool, which can resolve some bare references semi-automatically.
Once again, thanks for adding references to articles, and to avoid future link rot, please consider supplementing your bare URLs—creating full, inline citations with title, author, date, publisher, etc. More information can be found at Wikipedia:Inline citations. Thank you. :Jay8g [

Ozawa
Thank you for copy-editing Seiji Ozawa. I reverted some with explanations, and wonder if you found those, because you did the same even afterwards. Quite generally, in classical music, especially opera: when a piece has a link (Ninth Symphony, Swan Lake), there's no need to link to the composer whose biography is not relevant to the conductor's. Those who really don't know Beethoven can be sure to find a link in the symphony's article. - Happy editing, thanks for your help! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:55, 10 February 2024 (UTC)

Bare references
I have a feeling you are going to ignore this as you have ignored all similar requests on your talk page, but I want to ask this in good faith. Can you please stop using simple bare urls ("< ref > www.citation.com < / ref >") to reference citations in your edits and additions to articles? You are creating so much work for other editors who have to clean up behind you to ensure that what you've added doesn't disappear eventually as the cited page shifts. As has been explained on your talk page by multiple other editors, bare urls can quickly lead to an article full of broken urls as references. Again, I'm asking this in good faith, but I do not know why you would willingly make things so much more difficult for other editors when you've been politely asked multiple times to stop using bare urls. If anything, you are making it more likely that your own contributions will eventually be removed because a url you cited becomes redirected and the information you added is no longer directly cited. It only takes 30 seconds to add the extra information about what the source is, where it came from, and what it's called. You would be saving so many other people a lot of work, as you are a pretty prolific editor and seem to add citations very often.
Thanks for your time. 19h00s (talk) 16:52, 3 April 2024 (UTC)

We will also focus on the Wikimedia NYC Strategic Plan, our Financial Report, and Annual and Monthly event teams for the coming year. Election info:

You need to use edit summaries
File:Information.svg Hello. I have noticed that you edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! You obviously ignored past requests on purpose and evidently don't care how the lack of edit summaries is a bad thing, though by all means you SHOULD care and start using these MUCH more often. Still Life with Chair Caning
Hi. I'm reviewing the article you wrote, Still Life with Chair Caning, as part of new pages patrol. Could you confirm that the quote in the second paragraph comes from page 225 of Richardson's A Life Of Picasso, The Cubist Rebel 1907–1916 as the inline citation suggests? Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 15:36, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
Hi SunloungerFrog (talk) 15:36, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
My mistake it comes from the page on still life. I put the quote because an editor said I did not credit it.. It is Ebert Schifferer, a book quote, I dont know exactly how to annotate that. I used Richardson as a sustaining source.
Its totally my misreading and oversight please excuse me and add thr sttribution flr the source of you can please. Strattonsmith (talk) 19:07, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

Edit Summaries
Hi Strattonsmith, hope you're well. I just wanted to ask, as others have before, if you could please use edit summaries when making changes to articles. It is very frustrating to have to inspect all of your edits one by one to see what's been changed when you could include that info in the edit summary. Additionally, you do not have to make so many separate edits when you're making changes; again, that can be really frustrating for others who are watching a page, as it fills up our feed with a wall of tiny edits you made. You are able to make more than one edit at a time by clicking "Show preview" instead of "Publish changes" and then continuing to make additional edits in the same window.
Thanks for your time. 19h00s (talk) 20:53, 15 April 2025 (UTC)
:Just want to say thank you. I really appreciate you hearing the feedback, truly. I hope you have a great rest of your week. 19h00s (talk) 21:07, 15 April 2025 (UTC)
Sources?
Hi again, just wanted to follow up on some edits you've been making to the Black Abstractionism article. Where are you sourcing the information you're adding to the article? You've made dozens of edits, including substantive changes/additions/subtractions from prose, but I don't think you've added a single source to the article. Are you reading the pre-existing sources and gleaning new information that wasn't in the article already? 19h00s (talk) 23:49, 15 April 2025 (UTC)
:OK, you have added several sources - again, it is extremely frustrating to have to go through edit-by-edit to see what you added, as you could just be making these changes in a single edit. But the sources you've added are not reliable, independent, and notable for the topic. Artland.com is not a notable or reliable source, that seems to be some sort of art sales platform with a vague "editorial arm". Individual artist listings on the Studio Museum in Harlem's website are not good sources either, they're technically usable but artist listings on museum websites are often incredibly flimsy, unless there is a listed author/citations/etc. Thanks again. 19h00s (talk) 23:58, 15 April 2025 (UTC)

Ways to improve Ben Birillo
Hello, Strattonsmith,
Thank you for creating Ben Birillo.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with

Deletion discussion about Ben Birillo
Hello Strattonsmith, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Ben Birillo, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ben Birillo.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with
